Spring...glorious spring

I have never been a huge fan of daffodils.
But somehow they always do bring joy to my heart after a dreary (but not awful) winter.
                                                                    'Globe master' Allium
Chive blossoms bud at the feet of 'New Dawn' roses.

                                                                        Peonies in bud

Simple pansies will give way to summer blooms.

  1. I've never been a big fan of daffodils, but I love the white ones. Yours are pristine and quite lovely. What a gorgeous pot tier with the pansies. I love that!

  2. Love your container, Karen, and I can't wait until your gorgeous iris begin blooming (like in your header photo). I am a daffodil fan - actually anything that begins blooming in early spring after a dreary winter is a winner in my book!

  3. Thanks Holley,
The three tier planter is actually very fun to plant! and it gets watered by the lawn irrigation..doesn't get much easier than that!

  4. Hey Beth,

Thanks for visiting! I am like a nervous mom worrying that the Iris won't be as spectacular each year, but they always perform so wonderfully!
